Mix 2 tablespoons coarse sea salt and 6 drops of liquid smoke(hickory, mesquite)until thoroughly combined. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat(outside on grill) until smoking, and then add the salt and stir until it turns golden brown, about 30 seconds.Let cool before placing in closed container. Smoked salt can be stored at room temperature for several months.
